Sugar (A38161721)

Meet Sugar. Isn’t she a cutie! She’s also ready for a new forever home. She’s about 6 years old, up to date on all vaccines, spayed, and microchipped. She is a bit overweight, she’s shy, and not the biggest fan of men (it takes her a lot longer to warm up to men), but when she warms up, she is a love bug.  She uses the dog door fine when she has to go out.  Loves to go for walks and is great on a leash.  She needs a family that will not feed her too much junk and that will exercise her. She has no issues with our cats, but there are no dogs in our home. The previous owner gave her up because their other dog was beating her up, so she might do better in a home where she’s the only dog. She’s looking for a family who will be patient with her and give her the chance to warm up and become the lap dog she’d love to be.
