Jenny is a super duper love bug. She was fostered by our president, 7 years ago, along with her sweet kittens. Soon, the kittens and Jenny were all adopted into loving homes.
Jenny’s adopters had to return her, because one of the other cats in the home began to pick her. The other cat was older than Jenny, and was the cat they had when they adopted her, so Jenny was returned.
Jenny is considered special needs, because she tested positive for FIV when she was originally with our group 8 years ago. Unlike what some people think, FIV is not a death sentence. It just means their immune system is compromised, and they need good quality food, and a calm loving home in which to live. It is transferred during bites and mating, and since she is spayed, and not a fighter, she has always lived with the other cats in the home. Longevity with FIV has definitely been proven by this girl, who is now 9 years old, and going strong!
It would be best if she could find another calm loving home of her own, or even a foster home, since the foster home she is going to now has many cats and kittens coming in and out, as they are adopted. So many active young cats is probably much too stressful for this laid back purr box.
We can give you all of her details if you are interested in providing this angel of a kitty with a place to stay. She loves to play with catnip toys, as you can see in the video! We look forward to hearing from you! 🙂
