Israel is a Lab Retriever/Hound mix and is about 3 years old.  He looks like a white lab, but on short legs!  Israel is very sweet to his friends and protective of his foster mom. He has a special toy that he always carries; just throw that toy for him, and he’ll love you forever.  Israel enjoys leash walks, too.  He’s currently at a long-term training class, so he might have more skills to show off when he returns.

Israel doesn’t care for small children, so he is looking for a child-free home or one with children over age 10.

Israel is house-trained and loves his crate so much that he doesn’t complain when his foster mom forgets to let him out!  He gets along with all dogs and cats.

Israel has been neutered, is current on vaccinations, including rabies, and tested negative for heartworm.  He is on monthly flea and heartworm prevention.
