Hello. My name is Aura. I’m a little over three years old and looking for my forever home. People love me because I’m so affectionate and cuddly. If there is an open lap in a room, I’m more than willing to keep you company .

I’d be very happy if I could find a quiet home,with a nice backyard, and not too much noise. You see, fast moving bikes and cars aren’t exactly my thing. Trees, with squirrels and birds- now we’re talking. They say I’m an attention seeker, so a home where I’m the star of the show, is probably best. That way, I get to pay more attention to you.  They also say above all, I’m a people pleaser, whatever that means. My foster home includes two young children, who I love, They play with me, feed me, and keep me company. There is also a big dog there, who I do well with, but she’s bigger than me and likes to boss me around.   I don’t mind taking direction here and there, but I’d rather have the humans all to myself.

Going on fifteen minutes walks is part of my day. I can take it or leave it, although I’m not especially fond of that leash thing, cause you know, those fast moving things that make me a bit nervous. But as I mentioned, I like to please, so I’ve improved and with a little patience I think I can go for even longer.

Let’s see…what else. I’m  crate trained , potty trained , I don’t bark much and I sleep quietly all thru the night.  Some of my favorite treats are frozen bananas and peanut butter.
