Lindsey’s Legacy has been set up to honor Lindsey Nicole Middleton and her lifelong passion as an advocate for all animals. The funds in Lindsey’s Legacy will be used toward animals with the most serious medical needs. The fund will help to cover higher than normal medical costs associated with these conditions as well as ongoing costs of senior animals in our program.
Lindsey rescued and provided a loving home for numerous dogs in her short but wonderful life. Knowing that her work will continue through this fund is a comfort to all who knew and loved her.
Thank you to all who give in her honor.
The third annual Paws for Soccer Charity Game was held in January, 2014, in memory of Savanna Marie Kindt. Proceeds again were donated to support of Homes for Pets. Thank you to all who participated and donated!
Savanna Marie Kindt, 17, of Cibolo, left us too soon in a car accident on June 9, 2011. Savanna was a graduate of Steele High School where she played for the Lady Knights soccer team and was an award-winning member of the Cibolo Creek FFA. Savanna dedicated much of her time to local humane societies and animal shelters. She also fostered animals through Homes For Pets. Savanna planned to attend Angelo State University in the fall to begin her studies to become a large animal vet. Savanna touched the lives of many people with her kind heart and caring spirit. In honor of Savanna, Homes For Pets has established a special fund, Savanna’s Wish.”
This fund will be used for the rescue and rehabilitation of injured animals that may require extreme veterinary care. If you are interested in donating to Savanna’s Wish or holding a fundraiser to keep the funds available to help these unfortunate cases, mail your donation to Homes For Pets, P.O. Box 605, Schertz, TX 78154.
